How smart can your life be today? At the opening ceremony of the 2023 Minhang Technology Festival held on May 23, a series of new technologies and products closely related to people's lives, including smart pets, unmanned supermarkets, intelligent education, and AI exhibits, were showcased, demonstrating the transformative effect of technological innovation on urban life from perspectives familiar to the public. In February this year, the Shanghai municipal government officially released the "Plan for Promoting the Construction of the 'Dazero Bay' Science and Technology Innovation Source Function Zone." Taking the opportunity of the Shanghai municipal government's promotion of the construction of the 'Dazero Bay' innovation source, this year's Minhang Technology Festival will conduct activities around the theme "Science and Technology Innovation Source, Intelligent Creation of the Future," opening a new chapter in empowering industrial life and urban development with technological innovation, and gathering innovative intelligence to empower a new pattern of innovation-driven development. In the face of the future, cutting-edge technologies such as AI technology, synthetic biology, and translational medicine will surely empower the further take-off of 'Dazero Bay.' At the opening ceremony, honors were awarded to 12 district-level innovation research and development centers for 2022, 8 enterprises selected for the second batch of the 'Zhangjiang Star' cultivation program, and 11 'Science and Technology Innovation Stars' top enterprises, in order to encourage numerous science and technology innovation enterprises to strengthen independent innovation, continuously enhance hard technology strength, and make new contributions to the economic and social development of Minhang. On site, the 3.0 version of the Minhang Science Popularization IP image was officially released, featuring a highly impactful science popularization culture. It is reported that the district's Political Consultative Conference, District Science and Technology Committee, and Hotdog jointly issued a limited edition public welfare digital blind box - the Min Min blind box - to care for children with autism, and donated the Minhang Science Popularization IP digital blind box to 100 families of 'Star Children.' Opening the blind box randomly grants one of four digital blind boxes: 'Maqiao Hand Lion Dance,' 'Aerospace Pilot,' 'Subway Train Worker,' and 'Dazero Bay Maker.' Children can visit 10 science popularization education bases, including the Shanghai Aerospace Science Popularization Center, the Shanghai Subway Museum, and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Genetic Modification Science Base, for free within two years with the digital blind box. It is hoped that through the influence of science popularization culture, 'Star Children' will be accompanied out of loneliness.
